Isabel Hill (1938 - 1974) Obituary
Isabel Hill (1938 - 1974): In her short time on this earth, Isabel's journey was like a rock thrown into a lake, sending ripples ever outward into the future. Her kind heart defines her. Isabel was a singer, a writer, a poet, a thinker. She loved music, and her friendships and family ignited the hearth that was her heart. If you were struggling with any problems, she would tell you, there is always hope. Never, ever, give up. The ripples of Isabel's journey are still seen today: in every child, sister, brother, cousin, and friend; she will live in the memory with honor in all she has touched.
Life's race well run. Life work well done and now she rests. Isabell Hill was born January 27, 1938 to Mary Craig Cox in Faunsdale, Alabama. Later she moved to Birmingham, Alabama. In 1959 she moved to Los Angeles, California where she was united in marriage to Oliver Hill.
She departed this life November 29, 1974.
She leaves to mourn her passing a loving mother, Mary Rose, two children Olivia and Vincent Hill.
She also leaves one brother, Isaiah Craig of Birmingham, Alabama; Josephine Moses of Atlanta, Georgia; Fannie Austin of Birmingham, Alabama; seven nieces, seven nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
